Essential Legal Terms in Civil Law

  Civil law, also known as private law, is a greatly important branch of law in everyday life. It affects diverse matters in the lives of individuals, ranging from family matters (e.g. matrimony, divorce, adoption) to contracts and employment, and tort offences such as trespass and employers' liability.

  With this in mind, I have created an infographic of essential legal terms for youths to learn in civil law (according to the English legal system). Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, however - I have merely chosen the terms I deem most important for youths to know, as an introduction to civil law. All terms are explained clearly and in accessible ways!
